Stains
Stains are applied to cabinet doors to enhance the natural beauty of the wood, while also adding beautiful color. A variety of stain applications are used across our cabinetry brands. Cabinet stains can range from light to very dark. Light stains will allow you to see more of the wood's natural character, while darker stains will hide much of the grain, but can create richer color and a more dramatic look.
Paints
Adding touches of colour in an island, hutch or focal point can give you the personalization you're looking for and keep you within budget.

Glazes
Glazes are meant to highlight the different edges on a piece of cabinetry. They can be applied to both stain and paint finishes.
Two glaze types are available: hand-wiped and penned. Hand-wiped glazes begin with the application of a toner to enhance the wood’s natural characteristics. The glaze is then hand-wiped over the toner, resulting in unique variances on each door. Depending on the intricacies of the door style, the amount of glaze that settles in the grooves and corners of the door will vary, adding new depth and dimension. Penned glazes are applied with a professional, hand-penned technique, giving a consistent appearance from door to door while highlighting the details of each door.
Finish Techniques
Techniques like sanding edges, distressing the finish, or adding dents and gouges to cabinets, can create a worn-in and perfectly aged look. Finishing techniques are a great way to give your cabinets a truly unique appearance.
